1. QSO Cross-Checks are done by checking that both callsigns have logged entry on the same band within a +/15 min time margin 2. Band Multipliers: We are checking that only one station can be logged for SSB per band and one for CW per band. 3. We not not require QSL cards. 4. CW QSOs must be performed with max 5 Watts for both stations and within the CW time frame. 5. SSB QSOs must be within the SSB time frame. 6. Both QSO parties must have joined the contest either automatically in the contest or physically by joining in advance. If a user leaves the contest the QSO will not be accounted for.
Calculation procedure:
RIDX Contest Scoring:
1. Basic QSO Points:
Every QSO (contact) with a station that is a member of the "RIDX" club earns 3 points.
Every QSO with a station that is not a member of the "RIDX" club earns 1 point.
2. Distance Multiplier:
The distance between stations is taken into account, and additional points are given based on the following bands of distance:
Up to 3,500 km: 1 point for each QSO.
Between 3,500 km and 7,000 km: 2 points for each QSO.
Between 7,000 km and 10,000 km: 3 points for each QSO.
Above 10,000 km: 4 points for each QSO.
3. Band Multipliers:
For each unique band-mode combination (e.g., 20m-SSB, 20m-CW, 40m-SSB, etc.) that a participant has a QSO on, they earn a multiplier. The total number of these unique combinations is used as the "band multipliers."
4. Country Multiplier:
The number of different countries (ISOs) a participant makes contact with is used as the "country_count." This count acts as a multiplier.
