We Will Shortly Introduce HamSphere 5.1 – The Enhanced HF Simulation SystemHamSphere 5.1 marks a major step forward in our goal to recreate the real sound and experience of HF radio. It is more than just an update — it is a fully enhanced HF simulation system that brings the bands to life like never before. With HamSphere 5.1, you will notice: Live thunderstorm effects Helpful voice beacons instead of cryptic CW tones Realistic band activity that matches actual propagation Independent simulation across all global regions New and improved filters, including accurate roofing filters A much more refined and responsive propagation model The system now divides the world into six distinct simulation regions: North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia/Oceania. Each region has its own unique band character and signal behavior. For the first time, HamSphere will sound and behave like the real HF bands — complete with the unpredictability, depth, and richness that define shortwave radio. HamSphere 5.1 is coming soon.
