Challenges - A New Chapter in HamSphere Operating

The HamSphere Challenge System is a new way to explore, compete and achieve on your own terms, designed to replace the old Top-1000 concept with something fairer and more enjoyable for both experienced DXers and brand new operators.
Challenges run quietly in the background during normal operation, with automatic scoring based on custom rules such as distance, mode, power level, multipliers, bonus callsigns or geographic targets, all shown clearly on each Challenge card. Unlike intense contests, Challenges focus on long term activity, strategy and dedication rather than nonstop operating, and can be Open for everyone or League based for registered participants. Any HamSphere operator can also become a Challenge manager by creating their own events, defining the rules, designing award diplomas and submitting them for review, opening the door for CW sprints, VHF activity weeks, DX challenges, club competitions, DigiMode championships and special event activities. The system is beginner friendly, works alongside everyday QSOs without changing normal operation, and gives operators meaningful goals, live leaderboards and unique diplomas to earn along the way.
