Tonight's HamSphere 80 meter award net 04/08/2024 was started at 01:00 UTC on frequency 3.750, the following 8 stations checked in. VE3CMT/Ontario, KJ4BET/FL, AC9QM/IN, KA5KJI/TX, 2HS8210/NY, K4DPC/NC, KD9ZZP/IN, and N8RGO/OH as your Net Control Operator
. Tonight's net had 8 checkins and we thank all who checked in. Good net tonight, We had one new guy KD9ZZP Cameron from Indiana, he happens to be a new Amateur Radio operator and I am told just 16. He is part of the Indiana Radio Club I am assuming around where Rik lives as Rik was the one to introduce us tonight. Remember we have a FB group labeled the HamSphere 80 meter award net, please check it out and if you are not a member send us a request to join and we will get you approved as quickly as we can. We closed the net at 01:48 UTC. Always keep in mind to check into as many nets as you can. If you are planning to watch the eclispe tomorrow make sure you wear your special glasses.
