Connection Lost

Hello friends.
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, or has experienced and can offer solutions or tips: Almost every login results in a "Lost Connection - Retrying" message in the chatbox to the left. As far as I'm aware, my internet connection is solid, but willing to try any tweaks you might have to resolve this very annoying problem.
